 راهنمای نگارش مقالات 

 INSTRUCTION FOR AUTHORS

 مجله فيزيولوژی و فارماکولوژی نشريه رسمی انجمن فيزيولوژی و فارماکولوژی ايران است و حاصل پژوهش محققين را در زمينه‌های فيزيولوژی و فارماکولوژی به چاپ می‌رساند. کليه مقالات پژوهشی در حوزه‌های بنيادی، توسعه ای و کاربردی که به نحوی به هر يک از رشته‌های فوق مرتبط بوده و قبلاً در هيچ مجله ديگری به چاپ نرسيده باشند، می‌توانند مورد پذيرش قرار گيرند.

 نويسندگان محترمی که مايل هستند مقاله آنها در اين مجله چاپ شود، لطفاُ نکات زير را رعايت نمايند:

 زبان مقاله فارسی است و بايد سليس، روان و پيراسته از غلط‌های دستوری و املايی باشد و از آوردن اصطلاحات خارجی که معادل‌های دقيق و پذيرفته شده در زبان فارسی دارند، خودداری گردد.

 نويسنده مسئول ( Corresponding Author ) بايد طی نامه ای که همراه مقاله ارسال می دارد ( Cover letter ) صراحتا قيد نمايد که مقاله تا کنون در جای ديگری چاپ نشده و به مجله ديگری نيز ارسال نشده است. همچنين اضافه نمايد که با رضايت تمام نويسندگان و از طرف آنها مقاله را ارسال می دارد و مسئوليت صحت و اصالت مطالب مقاله را می پذيرد. چنانچه خلاصه مقاله قبلا در مجموعه خلاصه مقالات يک همايش يا سمينار به چاپ رسيده باشد، مانعی برای ارسال به اين مجله نخواهد بود.

 مقالات مروری (Review articles) فقط از نويسندگانی قابل بررسی است که حداقل 5 منبع از منابع مقاله، مربوط به نتايج تحقيقات قبلی و مرتبط مؤلف باشد.

مقالات مورد نگاری (Case report) يا ترجمه جهت چاپ پذيرفته نخواهند شد.

 نسخه اصلی (manuscript) مقالات با استفاده از نرم‌افزار Ms-Word نوشته شده و نوع و اندازه حروف برای زبان فارسی ميترا شماره 13 و برای زبان لاتين Times New Roman شماره 12 باشد.

نسخه اصلی مقاله با فاصله خطوط 2 (double spacing) نوشته شده و حداقل 25 ميلی متر حاشيه از اطراف داشته باشد و شماره صفحه در وسط و پايين هر صفحه قرار گيرد. عکس‌ها بصورت فايل‌های مجزا از نوع TIF آماده شوند. نمودارها حتی المقدور در نرم‌افزار Ms-Excel ‌ طراحی شده و ارسال شوند. تمامی عکسها و نمودارها تحت عنوان شکل به ترتيب اشاره در متن شماره گذاری شوند. اگر يک شکل دارای بخش های مختلف است تمام بخشها کنار هم به صورت يک تصوير با وضوح مناسب آماده شود و دارای زيرنويس واحد باشد.

 اطلاعات هويتی بيماران نبايد در نوشته‌ها، عکس‌ها و شجره‌‏ نامه‌ها منعکس شود؛ مگر آنکه اين اطلاعات برای مقاصد علمی ضروری باشد و بيمار (يا والدين يا قيم او) رضايت‌نامه آگاهانه برای انتشار را بصورت کتبی امضا نمايد.

 در مقاله ارائه شده بايد مشخص باشد که نويسندگان نکات اخلاقی را در مطالعات بالينی و حيوانی رعايت نموده اند.

 برای تسريع در داوری و چاپ، مقاله تنها از طريق سايت مجله ارسال گردد (Submission online) .

اطلاعات مقاله در فرم ارسال الکترونيک و فايل مقاله بايد کامل و منطبق بر هم باشد.  بويژه از نظر ترتيب اسامی و نويسنده مسئول. 

 کليه مقالات منطبق با شرايط فوق، بلافاصله بعد از دريافت اعلام وصول شده و مورد ارزيابی توسط مسئولين مجله قرار خواهد گرفت. مسئولين با توجه به اولويت موضوع مقاله و احتمال تاييد توسط داوران مقاله را رد يا براي داوری به داوران مجله ارسال می‌کنند. پس از اتخاذ رأی نهايی، نتيجه به اطلاع نويسنده محترم خواهد رسيد. در ضمن، هيأت تحريريه در پذيرش، رد يا درخواست انجام اصلاحات (توسط مؤلف) و ويرايش  جزئی نگارش مقالات آزاد است.

بر اساس مصوبه شانزدهم تير ماه هشتاد و نه هيات تحريريه از تاريخ مذکور مشخصات کامل نويسندگان مقالات در اختيار داوران محترم مجله قرار خواهد گرفت.

 روش تدوين نسخه اصلی مقاله و شرايط فنی

 صفحه اول : شامل موارد زير می باشد:

 - عنوان کامل مقاله (واضح، بيان کننده محتوای مقاله و حداکثر 100 حرف)

 - نام و نام خانوادگی نويسنده (نويسندگان)

 - نشانی (بخش، بيمارستان، دانشکده، دانشگاه، شهر و يا محل اشتغال ديگر)

 - نشانی پستی و شماره‌های تلفن، نمابر و پست الکترونيک نويسنده مسئول

 - عنوان مکرر ( Running title ) با حداکثر 40 حرف جهت تکرار در بالای صفحات مقاله می شود.

 - در اين صفحه نگارش انگليسی نام ، نام خانوادگی و آدرس نويسندگان نيز ارائه گردد. 

 صفحه دوم: شـامـل عنوان کامل مقاله و چکيـده فارسی (با حـداکثر 250 واژه، به تفکيک حاوی: مـقدمه، روش‌ها، يافته‌ها و نتيجه گيری) و واژگان کليدی ( Keywords ، 3 تا 5 کلمه) می شود. 

 صفحه سوم: شامل عنوان کامل مقاله و چکيده مقاله به زبان انگليسی (با حـداکثر 250 واژه، به تفکيک حاوی: Introduction ، Methods ، Results و Conclusion ) و 3 تا 5 کلمه Keywords می شود.  لازم است محتوای چکيده فارسی و انگليسی بر هم منطبق باشند.

 صفحه چهارم به بعد : شامل مقدمه، مواد و روش‌ها، يافته‌ها، بحث،سپاسگزاری و منابع به شرح زير می باشد. اين  بخشهای اصلی مقاله نبايد به زير بخشها تقسيم شوند.

 مقدمه: شرحی بر موضوع مورد بررسی شامل اهميت، پيشينه مختصر، فرضيه و هدف تحقيق است.

 مواد و روشها : شامل مواد و وسايل به کار رفته، شيوه و بساط اجرای پژوهش و روش تجزيه و تحليل داده ها می باشد (بدون عنوان بندی). اطلاعات ارائه شده در اين بخش بايد به گونه ای باشد که تکرار آزمايشات برای خواننده را امکان پذير نمايد.

 نتايج : در اين بخش تمامی يافته های کمی و کيفی با استفاده از شکلها و جدول ها ارائه می گردد. جدول‌ها، عکس ها و نمودارها بايد در صفحات جداگانه درج و شماره‌گذاری شده و در متن مقاله به شماره‌ها اشاره گردد. با توجه به نمايه شده مجله در نمايه های بين المللی اصل منحنی‌ها و نمودارها به زبان انگليسی تهيه گردد. عرض شکلها به گونه ای تنظيم شود که قابل چاپ در يک ستون (8 سانتيمتر) و يا دو ستون (17 سانتيمتر) باشد. جدول ها با استفاده از امکان Table در Ms-Word طراحی شوند. هر جدول بايد دارای عنوان و زيرنويس کامل باشد.  منحنيها يا نمودارها و يا عکسهای ارسالي بايد فقط تحت نام شکل و با توضيحات کامل به صورت زيرنويس شکل ارائه شوند.  زيرنويس‌ها  بترتيب در صفحه‌ای جداگانه نوشته شوند. در زيرنويس جدول و شکلها همه اختصارهای غير استاندارد توضيح داده شوند. عکس‌ها بايد دقيق و روشن به نحوی تهيه گردند که از نظر فنی چاپ آنها با کيفيت مطلوب در مجله مقدور باشد. حتی الامکان از ارسال عکس‌های رنگی و نمودارهای سه بعدی اجتناب گردد. چاپ شکل رنگی در نسخه چاپی مجله با هزينه نويسنده مسئول قابل بررسی است.

 بحث: شامل تحليل و تفسير يافته ها و مقايسه با ساير تحقيقات و نتيجه گيری کلی (conclusion) است.

 سپاسگزاری: منابع حمايت مالی که منجر به انجام تحقيق و تهيه مقاله گرديده است، قيد شود. همچنين هر گونه کمک تکنيکی و يا نظری افراد می تواند در اين بخش درج و مورد تقدير قرارگيرد.

 منابع: فقط منابع داوری شده قابل استفاده هستند. به تمام منابع موجود در فهرست منابع در متن مقاله اشاره گردد و بالعکس. منابع فارسی نيز به صورت انگليسی ارائه شوند (مثلا در مورد مقالات و پايان نامه ها با کمک اسامی و عنوان انگليسی موجود در خود منبع). در متن فقط شماره منابع در داخل قلاب [عدد به فارسي] ذکر گردد. فهرست منابع به ترتيب حروف الفبا مرتب شود. شيوه نگارش فهرست منابع مطابق نمونه‌های زير است:

 مقاله در مجلات مقاله مجله استاندارد :

 نام اصلی (خانوادگی) و ابتدای نام (کوچک) تمام نويسندگان را آورده و سپس عنوان مقاله،‌ آنگاه عناوين خلاصه شده (استاندارد) مجله بصورت پررنگ ( Bold ) و ايتاليک، شماره مجله، سال انتشار و صفحات اول و آخر آورده شود. توجه خاص به نقطه‌گذاری و ويرگول در نوشتن مراجع ضروری است.

 -نمونه مقاله:

 Zarrindast MR , Noorbakhshnia M , Motamedi F , Haeri-Rohani A , Rezayof A , Effect of the GABAergic system on memory formation and state-dependent learning induced by morphine in rats. Pharmacology 76 (2006) 93-100.

  INSTRUCTION FOR AUTHORS

Aims and Scope: Physiology and Pharmacology is the offi­cial scientific quarterly publication of Iranian society of Physiology and Pharmacology. This Journal ac­cepts Original Papers, Review Articles, Short Communications and Let­ters to the Editor in the fields of physiology, pharmacology, medicinal plants, pharmaceutics, molecular medicine and biology.

Submission: Manuscript must be accompanied by a cover­ing let­ter to the Editor-in -Chief, including title and au­thor(s) name and undertaking that it has not been pub­lished or submitted elsewhere. Manuscript should be typed in double space on A-4 size pages with clear margins. Tables as well as illustrations should be typed and drawn on separate pages. Do not submit tables as photographs. Electronic submission of the manuscript is preferred. The text and tables should be prepared in Microsoft Word format. The figures should be sent in a format of JPEG, EPS, TIF or GIF which will produce high quality images in the online edition of the journal. Submission is possible via Jour­nal URL: http://www.phypha.ir/ppj .

The manuscript should include: Title page; the Ab­stract; Introduction; Ma­terials & Methods; Results; Discussion; Ac­knowl­edge­ment and Ref­erences.

The title page: The complete title of the manuscript, running title, the name of all the authors with their e-mail address , the department or institution to which they are attached, address for correspondence author with telephone numbers, e-mail, and Fax number.

 The Abstract: All original articles must accompany a structured abstract up to 250 words. It should be structured as Introduction, Methods, Results and Conclusion followed by 3 to 5 Keywords. Keywords will assist indexers in cross indexing the article as they are published with abstract. Use terms from the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) list of index medicus (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/MBrowser.html ). Authors need to be careful that the abstract reflects the content of the article accurately.

  Introduction: This should summarize the purpose and the rationale for the study. It should neither review the subject extensively nor should it have data or conclusions of the study.

  Materials & Methods: This should include exact method or observation or experiment. If an apparatus is used, its manufacturer’s name and address should be given in parenthesis. If the method is established, give reference but if the method is new, give enough information so that another author is able to perform it. If a drug is used, its generic name, dose and route of administration must be given. For patients, age, sex with mean age ± standard deviation must be given. Statistical method must be mentioned.

  Results: It must be presented in the form of text, tables and figures. The contents of the tables should not be all repeated in the text. Instead, a reference to the table number may be given.

  Discussion: This should emphasize the present findings and the variations or similarities with other work done in the field by other workers. The detailed data should not be repeated in the discussion again. Emphasize the new and important aspects of the study and the conclusions that follow from them. It must be mentioned whether the hypothesis mentioned in the article is true, false or no conclusions can be derived.

 Acknowledgement: All contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be covered in the acknowledgement section. It should include persons who provided technical help, writing assistance and departmental head who only provided general support. Financial and material support should also be acknowledged.

  Tables: In limited numbers should be submitted with the captions placed above. Do not submit tables as pho­tograph. Place explanatory matters in footnotes, not in the heading.

  Figures: Should be in limited numbers, with high quality art work and mounted on separate pages. The cap­tions should be placed below. The same data should not be presented in tables, fig­ures and text, simultane­ously.

  References : All manuscripts should be accompanied by relevant references. The author should ensure reference to locally published studies by doing proper literature search. It may not be possible for the editor and reviewers to check the accuracy of all reference citations. To minimize such errors author should verify references against the original documents. The Reference should provide the following information as stated in the presented models as follows:

Proof Reading: A PDF file is sent to the corresponding author for proof reading before publication in order to avoid any mistakes. Corrections should be marked clearly and sent immediately to the Journal office.

Abbreviations and symbols: Use only standard abbre­viations. Avoid using them in the title and ab­stract. The full term for which an abbre­viation stands should precede its first use in the text unless it is a stan­dard unit of measurement.

Ethical guidelines : Ethical considerations must be addressed in the Materials and Methods section. 1) Please state that informed consent was obtained from all human adult participants and from the parents or legal guardians of minors. Include the name of the appropriate institutional review board that approved the project. 2) Indicate in the text that the maintenance and care of experimental animals complies with National Institutes of Health guidelines for the humane use of laboratory animals, or those of your Institute or agency.

Conflicts of interest: Authors must acknowledge and declare any sources of funding and potential conflicting interest, such as receiving funds or fees by, or holding stocks and shares in, an organization that may profit or lose through publication of your paper. Declaring a competing interest will not lead to automatic rejection of the paper, but we would like to be made aware of it.

Page charges: There are no charges for publica­tion in this Journal.

 Peer review process: All manuscripts are considered to be confidential. They are peer-reviewed by at least 3 anonymous reviewers selected by the Editorial Board. The corresponding author is notified as soon as possible of the editor decision to accept, reject, or require modifications. If the manuscript is completely acceptable according to the criteria set forth in these instructions, it is scheduled for the next available issue.

 Disposal of material : Once published, all copies of the manuscript, correspondence and artwork will be held for 3 months before disposal.

  The Final Checklist

  The authors must ensure that before submitting the manuscript for publication, they have taken care of the following:

  1. Title page should contain title, name of the author/co-authors, their qualifications, designation & institutions they are affiliated with and mailing address for future correspondence, E-mail address, Phone & Fax number.

  2. Abstract in Structured format up to 250 words.

  3. References mentioned as stated in the Instruction to Authors section.

  4. Tables should be typed on separate pages.

  6. Make sure for Headings of Tables, their numbers and Captions of illustrations. Don’t repeat the information in tables if it is covered in the text.

  7. Figures (Photographs / illustrations) along with their captions.

  8. Approval of the study from respective Ethics Committee/Institution Review Board.
